Film is Not Dead

This is not a film vs digital discussion. I just thought i would show an insight into my passion of film.

There is something mysterious about film. There has been a reawakening to film, especially medium format film. For me its not about which one is better they both have much to offer. Digital is instantaneous & Film is organic. I have been into film for over three years now & for me film is beautiful its a chemical reaction rather than a digital one & reminds me of why i started photographing people.

Classic black & whites & natural color tones. Film is imperfect & organic, i love these limitations as it is important to be challenged & to produce something authentic. This approach does force me to slow down & focus more on my work & personal goals in life. I do believe that keeping film alive for future generations is quite important especially in this digital age.
